Since moving to Rome I have purchased my first home for my family that I am grateful for and I have enjoyed being apart of the Floyd County and Rome Community. My daughter Taylin (8) attends Elm Street Elementary a STEM School in the 3rd grade. Taylin is also on the Level 2 Gymnastic Team which she finished 2019 Georgia State Meet Level 2 in 12th place. Taliana (4) is ready to start PreK in the Fall and is excited to be like "sissy".

I am currently active in the Rome City Schools as a volunteer and a member CTAE Advisory Board. I am part of Leadership Rome XXXVII "Best Class Forever" and just recently joined the DDA Outreach Board with Rome Downtown Development. I am excited to be on the Prom Court and I look forward to raising awareness and funds to support such an amazing and awesome cause.

I Attended College in Greensboro NC where I received by Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management. After graduation I moved to Atlanta, GA and continued my education at Devry University with my Bachelors in Hospitality Management Degree. I where I began my career with Marriott International as a front desk agent at the Renaissance Hotel Downtown Atlanta. I moved my way up thru Marriott from front desk, to PBX operator, to Front Office Supervisor, Front Desk Manager, and then Restaurant Manager or 5 F&B outlets in the hotel. I then started my Courtyard Brand Career still with Marriott and worked as the Assistant General Manager for 7 years. I had the pleasure of working at the Very first Courtyard by Marriott at Glenridge by Northside Hospital that opened in 1983. Then moved back to Greensboro, NC for several years were I was blessed with my first born Taylin Grace now 8 years old. We moved back to Atlanta when she was 2 years old and worked at the Downtown Atlanta Courtyard for several years before leaving Marriott and joining Hyatt House Atlanta Downtown as the HR and Accounting Manager for a little under a year during my time at Hyatt House with TPG Companies we welcomed another baby girl Tailana Nicole to the world who is now 4 years old.

Being a single working mom I knew that my love for Marriott and its culture was never lost and I wanted to get back. I had the wonderful opportunity to join the Courtyard Conyers with Duke Hospitality as the General Manager. I knew then I was where I wanted to be and knew my skills and talents would shine. I continued to learn more and grow as a person and a mother while in Conyers, GA. Duke Hospitality was opening a New Hotel in Rome, GA that I heard was going to amazing and was putting a lot of time and effort into making it the hotel of choice in Rome. In July 2018 I was asked to relocate to Rome, GA to run the Courtyard by Marriott Rome Riverwalk. Since that day it has been a blessing in the sky for me and my family.
