Tom Sills

Tom Sills is a professional urban and regional planner currently working for Bartow County as a Transportation Project Manager and Planner. He has served local governments in and around northwest Georgia and southeast Tennessee for 38 years. In addition, Tom serves as a registered Tax Professional with Peachtree Tax Advisors and assists clients with tax preparation. Tom Sills is the sole owner of Sills Ventures, LLC. The firm has been in existence for eleven years and provides grant and project management for projects of impact to the client and the communities it serves. Mr. Sills is also an investor in River Remedy Brewing Company located on Glenn Milner Boulevard.

Mr. Sills is a product of West Georgia. He grew up in Carroll County and earned a Bachelors degree at West Georgia College. From there he went on to earn a Masters degree in Planning from the University of Tennessee. He has served on the Executive Boards of Habitat for Humanity, the Coosa Valley Fair, and the Georgia Planning Association. Tom and his wife Jenny have two grown sons, Paul and Chris, and live in Rome, Georgia.
